Reflections on the Mediterranean

When I was a kid, I used to look at the sea searching for a reflection. At first, I would see myself, but I if I would to change the angle, the image would change as well. I imagined that, if I make an angle of looking good enough, I would be able to see what is happening on the other side of the sea. Later, when I started to play the guitar, my mind would often travel in the same direction the reflection went – towards Spain. I was dragged to its shores my whole life and when I finally reached my destination and experienced everything I wanted, I felt as someone is touching my shoulder. I looked back towards the sea. For the first time I could clearly see the coast of Spain and I got the same childish idea: if I make a good enough angle, will I be able to see at least a part of my land?
