   About program

The way of the guitar is much more than simple guitar lessons. It is a unique combination of practical guitar, theory, history, music listening and discussions about ideas and projects. The center of the program is a student, and that is being achieved through combination of knowledge and experience from different areas, such as: music, pedagogy, psychology

Every future player is and individual with its own needs and interests. The sentence that was said and heard numerous times and which is a guideline every time I meet new guitarists. That is the main reason why the first interview is something I pay a lot of attention to, because it serves for getting to know the future guitarist; not just through basic info, but through understanding his sensibility, whether it is a youngling, a student, mature person or someone who, in retirement, finally has the opportunity to fulfill his dream and learns to play the guitar. The whole philosophy of work is in understanding the needs of a student and opening paths to topics of his interests, without forcing unnecessary information. The future guitarist can choose to follow presented programs, or he can create its own program, the way he always wanted to learn the guitar.

   Why choose my program?

Taking the fact that I received my first lessons about music from my family, then with several teachers and professors during elementary and high-school of music, all the way to Academy of music (college), I posses a great knowledge in the area of classical music and pedagogy. Because, since I was twelve, I started diving into the world of rock music, studying it analytically, reaching the beginnings of blues and jazz, which are genres I am familiar with today, I have a vast amount of knowledge in the area of popular music. Also, since I was seventeen, I have started to study latino and flamenco music which are huge part of my playing repertoire today, meaning I have knowledge about them also. Because I received my knowledge from Serbia, Russia, Spain, studying not only the guitar, but different forms of singing as well as other music theories derived from the east. Because I am actively composing and arranging music, am working as a guitar professor, studying musical marketing, management and there isn’t a single field of music I haven’t touched, at least a little bit, which means I can answer many questions. Finally, because I am an active player, I know what it takes to reach the stage and how to feel great while on it.

      Frequently asked questions:

How long until I can play some songs?

By following my program, first songs will come in the second month. Reaching that point is at the same time the hardest part because it requires a lot of patience and practicing, but after that, development is much faster and after the two to three months, you will be able to play almost all popular songs.

What do I need to know before I start?

The program covers all the lessons needed, theoretical and practical, which are needed to understand the instrument, so pre-knowledge is not necessary.

Can I play on a still string guitar?

Yes, the program is identical for both guitars. Electric guitar, on the other hand, is something I wouldn’t recommend on the very beginning, but only after certain techniques have been learned. It is, however, possible to learn on electric guitar as well.

I have learned to play on YouTube and I don’t understand some things.

Learning on YouTube is not recommended for beginners. One of the most important aspects of pedagogy is setting the goals according to students interests and clearing him of any doubts before the end of the class! For that to work, the teacher needs to know his student and student needs to trust his teacher.

Is there an option to learn through internet?

Yes, you need a solid camera, good internet connection and Skype account.

Do the online lessons have less quality?

The only difference between online and live lessons is physical contact while correcting hands, but taking the fact that my philosophy includes very little contact (in my opinion, it is necessary for a student to find his comfort position), by following my program, the difference is irrelevant.
